Sharks - Free Sample

Hotspot Kenya Large bull sharks can still be caught today on the Kenyan coast off Malindi and Watamu. Nearly all skippers practice tag & release there. The sharks in the Bijagos Archipelago off Guinea-Bissau are extracted there more than they are tagged. Bull sharks have now been placed on the IUCN Red List and are classified as lower risk, just like the tiger shark. Again and again, sharks die in nets set up to protect bathers in the South African city of Natal. According to the Natal Shark Board, the dead sharks that are recovered from the nets are getting smaller and smaller in size. This is not "a good sign" for the local population. Bull Shark
