CONNECTION OF DACRON (PE) WITH MONOFILAMENT LINE - VARIANT 2 181 Here, the braided main line and the leader are produced with a separate piece of thin PE line. Once again, uniform, controlled winding is only ensured when the roto knotter works as close as possible to the lines to be wound. The distance between the fingers, the main line and monofilament lines must also be as small as possible (less than 1 cm). 1. First, approximately 5 meters of PE line (diameter 0.08 to 0.10 mm) is wound on the bobbin of roto knotter. 2. Then, as shown in the illustration, bring together the main line and monofilament line and first wind the mono line about 1 cm wide. 12-18 cm 1 cm 1 cm 12-18 cm
